Sophie in colors
I spent the weekend on a getaway in Door County. It was great-did a little shopping/browsing, made a fire in the fireplace both nights, watched some stupid movie (Zombieland-so lame!) and stitched. Also tried to find some floss at the only quilt shop in the county-I kid you not. No luck but did pick up a cute charm pack-what's a girl to do when faced with a shop full of fabric? Take a peek at Sophie in colors-she's almost done!

Hi Janelle,
ReplyDeleteI came across your site as I visit blogland and really enjoyed reading through your posts.
I envy your visit to Door County. It is one of my favorite spots to visit. I live in Illinois but was born and raised in Wisconsin.
Hope to make it home again someday.
Your Sopie is adorable!

Diane-we're so glad you found us! I hope you are able to return to Door county for a visit sometime soon. My DH and I have fallen in love with it over the last year-funny that it took us both so long. But we have really started to make it our own-especially Fish Creek. We now have a favorite place to stay, favorite place to eat, etc. And, of course, there are a couple of places I love to sit and stitch at. One is the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse in Peninsula State Park...hmmm...maybe that's one of Sophie's favorite places too???
